Reconstruction of the bridge of Chatou, which had been looted and burned during the Fronde, April 25, 1652. Extract from a decree of the Conseil d'Etat issued the same day, October 14, 1666, signed by Guénégaud. "On the request presented to the King in his Council by Paul Charpentier, master carpenter in Paris, successful bidder for the carpentry works necessary to restore the bridge of Chatou. Containing that before undertaking the aforementioned restoration, having made sound the ground of the place where the aforementioned bridge is to know which could be the seat of the piles which it would be necessary to put in the places which are to be restored and that even having made draw some of those which remained to take the measurements of the pieces of wood which would be necessary to him, the suppliant would have recognized that the old piles entered in ground only of eight to nine feet [...] ". - File coming from the archives of the aviator Maurice Bellonte who, the first, in company of Dieudonné Costes, crossed the Atlantic Ocean from east to west. - Viroflay: personal card of Bellonte of the banquet offered by the city of Viroflay "to Messrs.
