ISERE. More than 100 letters addressed to... - Lot 152 - Conan Belleville Hôtel d'Ainay
ISERE. More than 100 letters addressed to Olympe de Morard d'Arces countess of Bianchi. Interesting correspondence addressed to the countess Olympe de Bianchi, born Morard d'Arces (born in 1756), of Grenoble origin, who married in 1778 Joseph Charles de Bianchi Seccadenari Sighicelli, patrician and senator of Bologna, gentleman of S.M. the King of Sardinia. The correspondence is full of echoes of the troubled events of that time: the beginning of the Revolution, the Italian campaign, the Empire, the Restoration. Beautiful and interesting correspondence of 29 letters from her sister Pauline de Morard (Paris, 1792-1811), 5 letters from her brother Alexandre de Morard (Pontcharra, Bologna and Paris, 1810-1828), 5 letters from Marie-Angélique de Saint-Peyre (née Solar), lady of the Court of the King of Sardinia (Cagliari, 1814-1815), 5 letters of Giordano di Bianchi marchese di Montrone, man of letters attached to the Court of the King of Naples (Naples, Bari and Montrone, 1821-1828), count of Saluces, Tommaso de La Marmora (first squire of Charles-Emmanuel), etc. In particular, there is a correspondence of 42 letters from Mrs. Dupuy Saint-Vincent née Rambaud, a close friend of the countess: 42 letters written from Grenoble and Biviers, 1803-1814 (about 100 pages in-4).
