Paris, November 20, 1820. Collection stamp. On the publication of the Iconography of the members of the Royal Institute of France. "The Academy, Sir, agrees for its part to the tribute you are making to the Institute of a copy of your iconography of the members of the four academies, for the Common Library, and this work was presented successively to the three others. In the first two issues which were presented to ours, one noticed the ease and the accuracy with which you rendered, not only the features of the persons, but also the physiognomy resulting from the habitual character of their meditations []. One appreciates especially the feeling of honor which made you prefer to attach your name thus to the fame of the four academies [] ". Attached is a signed document for cleaning work at the Mazarine Library (1835), a letter concerning the ordinances of Louis XI, as well as a letter from another hand about articles written by Petit-Radel.
