"I have had everything planted that needed to be planted; the seeds of birch and Labrador tea are also sown in pots under a frame; I thanked M. de Jeanseen for his seeds, I will have on my return to Paris some requests to make to him which are seeds of his Riga pine [] if his are taken back, branches with heel of Gingo to make cuttings, boxwood pariti and grafts of different species []. Mr. Le Monier has given me hope for this year of grafts of his different thorns, the small alizier of Mont d'Or; the Pompadoura and grafts of different species of Viorne; I have at present many feet of ordinary Viorne. Until I can thank Mr. Thouin for the two Kermes oaks, please be so kind as to thank him on my behalf []".
