Jules Dumont d'Urville]. On May 8, 1842, satire on the catastrophe of the railroad, followed by unpublished notes of the most scrupulous accuracy by J.-F. Destigny (of Caen). Paris, Lavigne, 1842. Brochure in-8, 32 pp. (damaged cover). It was during this first railway disaster in history, which resulted in 55 official deaths (but probably many more), that Dumont d'Urville lost his life, along with his wife Adèle and their 14-year-old son Jules.
