Calligraphy. 4 handwritten documents, 18th-early 19th century and 2 printed documents. - Calligraphy exercise by Réquiem, a student of Fouqueur, 18th century: "If it is essential to know how to write with art and method, it is also shameful not to know it or to know it badly []" (corner moulding). Another calligraphy exercise on agriculture, with two drawings of birds (early 19th century, corner moulding). An 18th century manuscript piece describing "the true posture of the body when writing" (corner moulding). German calligraphy, decorated with a bird, dated 1767. - Louis Barbedor (1589-1670), master writer in Paris. 2 engraved cupboards, 40 x 29 cm, one entitled "Scriptura", presenting examples of writing in an ornate frame (edges a little damaged), the second presenting, in a more sober frame, a text in Latin followed by an alphabet.
