This is how the universal renown that the work of Barthez and Bordeu brought to the Faculty was earned. This is an unjust ransom. During the past centuries, the Faculty was nothing less than the school of medical philosophy that we wanted to see in it. It was, in fact, the first and it always remained a great school of observation.
