Scattered faint freckles in the second volume, a handwritten bookplate and a label on both title pages. Description of Lyon, the banks of the Rhone, Sainte Foy hill and productions of this hillside, Saint Genis valley, Fontaine de la Mauche, Chaussée Perrache - destruction of Lyon by the barbarians - Place Bellecour, monuments and state in 1790 - jousts and fights on the water - navigation on the Rhone and the Saone, shape of the boats, mines of Rive de Gier - grain market, port of Cordeliers, Fourvières hill - Bazoche festivals - silks of France and manufactures - entrance of Henri IV in Lyon, les Brotteaux, buildings of the Middle Ages - etc. The two volumes of text, without the atlas, often missing.
