HENRIQUEL-DUPONT, Louis-Pierre (1797-1892), engraver and draftsman. Set of 2 drawings and 4 L.A.S. in Bianchi and Cherdeau. Paris, circa 1850. 5 pp. in-8. A letterheaded letter from Goupil & company "French and foreign prints". Two addresses on the back. - A copperplate belonging to Furne. "I am sending you at the same time a small old plate from which I ask you to have four proofs printed [...]". Order of a copper plate. Sending of a drawing: "I would have liked, sir, to know the opinion of the Princess and her friends on my portrait [...]. I am raising my drawing to 600 francs, the price I was accustomed to at the time when the Countess of Aragon honoured me by calling me for the first time [...]". A final letter relates to the steps taken to collect the silver of his Medal of Honour, which he sends to various artists' associations. - Two drawings (unsigned) are attached to this set: 1. richly ornamented sword hilt (graphite pencil with watercolour highlights, 22 x 18 cm, some freckles). 2. Sheet with 7 pencil sketches, 18 x 18 cm (stag in antlers, columns, rider, etc.).
