Charles BRONGNIART (1859-1899), entomologist, paleontologist, holder of the entomology chair at the Muséum; he was also a mycologist and, with his brother-in-law Maxime Cornu, studied crop pathogenic fungi carried by Diptera. 5 plates (one double) of watercolor drawings, dated, signed and sometimes located. 24 x 15,5. 1874-1880. Very fine series of drawings of (identified) fungi, executed with great finesse, several drawings per plate: "Amanita Coesrea - Forêt de Gisors le 5 octobre 1880 - Ch. Brongniart delineavit et pinxit.", "Amanita muscaria - Charles Brongniart 7bre 1874", etc.
