An important Empire-style ornament in patinated, chased and gilded bronze, consisting of an amphora-shaped clock with a circular dial on a silver background, indicating the hours in Roman numerals. The body of the vase is adorned with four music goddesses wearing laurel wreaths. The neck is adorned with two female dragonflies, and the base and pedestal with ormolu foliage. Resting on a quadrangular base with mercury head, laurel wreath and foliage frieze. And two urns in the same style adorned with two seated angels bearing a garland of flowers. H. Pendulum 77 cm.
