Samuel HAHNEMANN (1755-1843), father of homeopathy. Autograph letter (written in the third person) addressed to Baron de Romeuf. 1 p. in-8 Dated "March 21". Replacement of conventional medicines with diluted powder. "Dr. Hahnemann presents his compliments to Monsieur le baron de Romoeuf and asks him to stop taking his present medicines. Here is a powder to be put in a clean carafe with 7 tablespoons of water and one tablespoon of brandy. Shake, put a teaspoonful of this medicine in a glass of water. Take one teaspoon every morning".
