He also sends her his publications and discusses the classification of his herbarium. He talks about his own work. "For some years I have been carefully studying the genus Sesleria; only one Italian species is missing from my herbarium: it is the Sesleria nustica Badaro which is indicated by the author near Albergo. I believe it differs from Sesleria coerulens according to Badaro's description. Of Sesleria coerulens I have over 1000 samples from all over Europe [...]". And his discoveries: "This year I have already discovered a new Sedum, a new Ceptolaria, and a Poa. I'll let you know about the rarer plants in my collections. He also talks about his work on the Colchicum genus... A final 6-page letter is devoted to his trip to Transylvania.
