H. 24,5 - L. 22,7 cm (Diam : 19,5 cm) On the back the label of the merchant Alphonse Giroux with the honored rooster An old annotation in pen Romney (portrait of Mrs Hamilton). In connection with the portrait of Emma Hamilton (C. 1765 - 1815) as a bacchante (London, private collection Peter Johnson). 2 - Presumed portrait of Lady Hamilton smiling, as a gentle ingenue, head tilted to her left, wearing a striped top with a knotted ribbon. Charcoal and gouache in the background. Mounted on cardboard. H. 24,5 - L. 22,7 cm (Diam : 19,5 cm) On the reverse, label Alphonse Giroux with the honored rooster. An old annotation in pen Romney (Portrait of Mrs. Hamilton). Pair of 19th century wood and gilded stucco frames with a row of pearls and palmette motifs (accidents and missing parts).
