[MARIE ANTOINETTE]. File on the false letters of Marie Antoinette. Precious file constituted by the historian Auguste Geffroy (1820-1895), professor at the Sorbonne, director of the French School of Rome and member of the Institute; he revealed the deception of Feuillet de Conches. Preserved in a file bearing this title: "Articles, papers and letters concerning the false letters of Marie-Antoinette and Louis XVI and contained in the Hunolstein and Feuillet de Conches collections". The fruits of his labors will be the subject of several publications, attached to the present file. 1.
