Set of autograph manuscripts (drafts forming 21 pp. in-4 and 15 pp. in-folio), accompanied by 4 drafts of letters (4 pp. in-8). Important file on the lawsuit between him and his former colleague and minister of Louis XVI, the Marquis de Chambonas [Victor-Scipion-Charles-Auguste de La Garde de Chambonas (Chambonas, Ardèche 1750-1830), minister of Foreign Affairs of Louis XVI in 1792]. Both emigrated to London after August 10, 1792. Bertrand de Molleville was busy with literary works. But Chambonas lived on expedients and loans, gambling and occasionally working as a watchmaker; he was prosecuted for debts and sentenced to prison]. In this important indictment file, written entirely in English, Bertrand de Mollevaille details the misappropriations of which Chambonas was guilty against him: "Proofs on the indictment", "Note for the indictment against Ch.", etc. All these drafts are intended to instruct the prosecution in the law. All these drafts are intended to instruct his lawyer Mr. Winburn. There is also a draft of a manuscript in the hand of the lawyer Winburn, "The king against Chambonas" (7 pp. gd in-folio).
