Letter signed with autograph subscription "vostre très affectionnée cousine", to "Monsieur mon cousin". 1 p. in-4. Armorial seal in black wax on the bottom of the letter. On the death of his son Leopold-Clement (1707-1723), hereditary prince of Lorraine. "The letter that Vostre Emce took the trouble to write me about the irreparable loss that I have made by the impregnable death of Prince Leopold Clement my elder son is for me a very sure proof of the part that she took in my just pain [] which threw me in an affliction to be able to express it to Vostre Emce [] ".
