Nancy, February 21, 1607. Complete transcript attached. Conflict within the Abbey of Senones. Request of François Terruel, coadjutor and administrator of the abbey of Senones, to Charles of Lorraine, concerning a dispute he has with the abbot of Senones [Jean IV de Lignère] for the rents and revenues of the priory of Moniet (commune of Deneuvre, Meurthe-et-Moselle). Following this request, he summonsed the two parties "to appear before us in our council". There is attached a whole history on this affair, 5 pp. in-folio "Struggles between Dom Lignoerius abbot of Senones and his coadjutor François Terrel".
