ANTOINE 1ER (1489-1544), son of René II, duke of Lorraine (1508), nicknamed " le Bon ". Signed as "duke of Calabria, Lorraine and Bar". Parchment (34 x 14 cm). April 23, 1520. Very rare signature. He confesses to having received from Master Mouchet du Museau "adviser to my lord the king [François 1er] and treasurer of his wars the sum of nine score livres tournoys of our right and status of captain of sixty men-at-arms and six score archers making the number of sixty lances supplied with the orders of the Sr. of the number of four score lances also supplied with the orders of the Sr. of which we have the charge and the conduct []".
