I visited successively Mr. Mohu, director of the Meteorological Institute of Christiana, former head of the Nörvigen Expedition, and Mr. Murray, director of the Challenger Office in Edinburgh, who was kind enough to teach me himself, on board the yacht Medusa, the practice of the methods of experimentation []".
