MANUFACTURE OF SEVRES Teacup and its saucer, in hard porcelain, of the service of pomp and ceremony of the king Louis-Philippe in the castle of Eu, model cup second size in light green and white bottom heightened by friezes of foliage and nets of gold, decorated with an alternation of rectangular and oval reserves containing groups of polychrome flowers painted on a black background and oval cartridges with a pale pink background, containing trophies and emblems in a cameo style, the whole standing out on an almond green background and gold scrolls. Cup: Green mark : LP (Louis-Philippe) under crown SV (18)46 Painter's mark in red: ER for Eugène Richard, active from 1833 to 1872. Engraved marks: 46-10 for October 1846 Gold mark LP under crown Sèvres 1847. Red mark in stamp: château d'Eu under crown. Saucer : Green mark: LP (Louis-Philippe) under crown SV (18)46 Painter's mark : AB for Louis-Désiré Barré, active from 1844 to 1881.
