À la feuille de rose, maison turque is a play by Guy de Maupassant created in 1875, and not intended for publication during his lifetime. This play was first performed on April 19, 1875 by Robert Pinchon, Guy de Maupassant's canoeing companion, in Maurice Leloir's workshop on Quai Voltaire. It is a farce of rapins and a heartfelt tribute to the house of Turkish Zoraïde, the convivial brothel of Sentimental Education. It was published in 1945 and was the subject of a television adaptation by Michel Boisrond. Since 1945, it has been republished several times and performed in theatres in France and Belgium. Very good condition.
